PLAYER UPDATES Provided By SportsBuff.com
Player: Quarterback QB, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 11/19/08, Time: 11:57 pm
 Status:
Steady
News: It appears that Georgia Tech will go into Saturday's game against Miami with a pair of healthy quarterbacks. Starter Josh Nesbitt and No. 2 Jaybo Shaw are both at or near 100 percent and should be ready to go.
 Analysis:

Nesbitt has been suffering from a sprained ankle, while Shaw suffered a bout of leg swelling last week. Both will be available to run the running offense of Paul Johnson. (SportsBuff.com)

Player: Kevin Lopina QB, Washington State Cougars 11/19/08, Time: 11:53 pm
 Status:
Probable
News: Washington State QB Kevin Lopina is responding well to a mild concussion he suffered Saturday and is expected to be under center for Saturday's Apple Cup game against Washington.
 Analysis:

Even though Lopina hasn't thrown a touchdown this season, he appears to be the better option against Washington as opposed to touted frosh JT Levenseller. (SportsBuff.com)

Player: Dennis Pitta TE, Brigham Young Cougars 11/19/08, Time: 11:51 pm
 Status:
Probable
News: Brigham Young TE Dennis Pitta sprained his knee in last week's game, but has progressed to the point where he's listed as probable for Saturday's showdown with Utah.
 Analysis:

Pitta is a huge weapon for BYU and is third in the country in TE receiving yardage at just over 90 ypg. Having him on the field is a huge boost for QB Max Hall and the Cougar offense. (SportsBuff.com)
