For five decades, Jim Feist, a professional bettor, handicapper and businessman has been the leader in the sports wagering information field. Beginning in the 1970s Jim was ahead of the curve with National Sports Services, utilizing the first telephone line services, Sports Tracker, former publisher of the Official Nevada Rotation and hosting/producing “Pro Line”,the longest running sports handicapping show on USA Cable Network and the web.

Jim has served as a professional consultant to the New York State Lottery and appeared on television programs ranging from ESPN’s “Inside Football” and “Sports Center” to CNN’s esteemed “Crossfire.” He has won numerous handicapping contests, including the Stardust Championship “Winner Takes All” football competition and twice won first place in the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Handicapping Contest. In the 2005 World Series of Poker he finished 426 out of 5,600 participants and finished second in the 2010 Bookmaker.com basketball handicapping contest.

His other endeavors include building multi-million dollar businesses in the communication arena as well as building successful websites, weekly radio interviews and articles published around the globe. Never one to stand idle, Jim has been able to tap the latest in technology in an effort to provide clients with the best possible tools and information to succeed in the challenging world of eleven-to-ten.

In the handicapping and betting world you must be focused and diligent in your approach and conservative in your money management. Mental toughness and discipline, especially when things are not going your way, are paramount. Those are qualities that have set Jim apart. Picking winners is just one phase of a successful gaming approach. You need to have it all to not only win but hold on to your winnings over the long haul. Success is in the details and Jim Feist measures success not by the sports season, but by the decade.

Continuing last week’s coaching changes in the NFL, let's go game by game, team by team.

The Seattle Seahawks announced three additions to their coaching staff, naming Brian Schottenheimer offensive coordinator, Ken Norton Jr defensive coordinator and Mike Solari offensive line coach. There is no question the Seattle Seahawks have fallen apart on the offensive side of the football due to perhaps neglect or deterioration over the fact that Russell Wilson came out of his rookie status and had to be paid big money. Paying Wilson meant they didn't have enough money to pay an offensive line. As a matter of fact, they were in the bottom part of the league in lowest paid offensive lines and they performed as such.

It's hard to criticize a coach that has been around for 11 seasons and never had a losing season. I'm talking about Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have to tell you when I'm watching games that he coaches I have to shake my head at the decisions he makes. He just misses many simple decisions.  I'm glad there is a connection between Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin that can be held together and then of course the chemistry that you get with the new offensive coordinator whoever that should be. This team underperformed this year in my opinion and many of the Tomlin coached teams do underperform.  They play down to their competition. For Mike to be talking about an upcoming meeting with the Patriots and not focusing on the team that he's going to be playing this weekend is an atrocity. Personally I think he should be fired, but the Rooney family won't do that, most likely they'll just make a couple of changes around Mike and hope it works.  I disagree but we'll have to see what happens

The game of coaching musical chairs is not over yet and won’t be until the Super Bowl is over. Not only are the Head Coaching jobs being filled with new bodies but the all-important Offensive and Defensive Coordinators jobs are being filled with old and new players.

Some of these positions changes will be positive and others will prove to be oops, we done messed up again. Just ask the Browns how easy it is to mess up. They are as you well know, the masters of messing up.
